 York Rite Masonry

Further Light in Masonry, One Living Stone at a Time

Royal Arch Masonry is a part of the York Rite within the Masonic family. Royal Arch Masonry offers further insight through additional Masonic degrees. It builds on themes introduced during the earlier degrees (Entered Apprentice, Fellowcraft and Master Mason) of the traditional Masonic Lodge. During several of the degrees, candidates are brought back in time, before the conferral of the Master Mason degree (before the destruction of King Solomon's Temple). One of the degrees portrays a portion of Jewish history after the release from Babylon and their return to their home. These degrees are just as vital today because they are based on themes not only of understanding one's self, but of working together for a common purpose.

Our degrees continue on one of Freemasonry’s underlying themes,
that of men working together in harmony.

2025 Tri-Way Visitation Hosted by Petaluma Royal Arch Chapter at Santa Rosa Chapter

On the same day that the Cryptic Degrees were conferred in Alameda, the 2025 North Bay Tri-Way Reception and Visitation was held at Santa Rosa Luther Burbank Lodge in Santa Rosa. It was hosted by Petaluma Royal Arch Chapter. Their caterer did a great job with the food and the Chapter did a great job with the reception. It was a credit to the district.

East Bay York Rite Degree Festival

In addition to the degrees conferred at Comptche in June of this year, the East Bay York Rite Association conferred the Royal Arch degrees on September 27th. They did a great job. The lodge in Alameda has two Lodge rooms, one of which is dedicated for the Royal Arch. They did a great job with the degrees and their Lodge rooms are beautiful. Later in October, they conferred Cryptic Degrees and the Commandery Honors.

Comptche 2025

Comptche Outdoor Degree Festival

We had a great time at the Comptche Outdoor Degrees this year. The ritual work was very good. They were generous with the food. We met great Masons from throughout the state. There were things for the ladies to do on Saturday. Everyone was very happy with the event. It is with regret that we report that this was the final year that these degrees will be conferred there. We thank the Tunzi family for their many years in hosting this event.

2024 was a good year with several social events of which blue Lodge brethren were welcomed to attend.

Hosting Brethren at Local Baseball

One of the best parts about 2024 was hosting fellow Masons at local baseball in Albert Park with the San Rafael Pacifics. We enjoyed several games, good baseball, fellowship, good weather and food.
